Services:

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program:

LIHEAP: 1-866-432-8847 or apply at local CAP agency

Emergency fuel assistance:

ECIP: Apply at local CAP agency

Lifeline:

Low-cost phone services and install. Call local CAP agency or phone provider

State-funded Low Income Bill Payment Assistance Programs:

The Maine Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and local CAP agencies oversee several smaller assistance programs. Application process varies for each program. Contact the PUC's Consumer Assistance Division or the local CAP.
